Pete Devereux und Mark Hill kommen
aus Southampton und arbeiten seit mindestens 1997 an eigenen Tracks. Vor einem
Jahr trafen sie den 18jährigen (?!?) Craig David, der im Nachbarstudio
als Sieger eines Wettbewerbes einen Song für die britische R&B-Combo
Damage komponieren durfte (Der Song stieg als B-Seite bis auf Platz 3 der
UK-Charts).
Daraus entwickelte sich die erfolgreichste Crew des 2-Step. Im Sommer erscheinen
Alben sowohl von Artful Dodger als auch Craig David - u.a. mit einer Neuaufnahme
von Human Leagues: "Human".
